25-05-2012 Fujitsu South China data centre achieved the Class A Certificate Recently the Fujitsu South China data centre has received the highest certification for data centres in China. This Class A certificate is the highest level of certification for design with the lowest fault tolerance, which is granted for the design of an electronic information system room and issued by the Computer Room Association of the China Computer User Association. This National Standard (GB50174-2008 code) refers to the international Standard of TIA/EIA-942 adjusted to the local regulations in China.
As the strategic partner of Fujistu data centre, one of the top 3 global IT service providers, Hitec Power Protection delivered a turnkey project of 2 x 1300kVA Diesel Rotary UPS (DRUPS) solution in the first phase of this data centre. The no-battery design of this DRUPS solution meets Fujitsu’s commitment to environmental-friendly and ‘going green’ data centres. Moreover, Hitec’s DRUPS solution saves floor space in order to increase the useable raised floor area, has a system efficiency up to 97% which considerably decreases power loss and has the lowest carbon emission with lowest TCO. The granted Class A Certificate for the Fujitsu data centre confirms that Hitec’s DRUPS solutions meet the highest standards for data centres in China.
